What Customers Say About Audio Technica AT-LP2D LP-to-Digital Recording System:

Turntable sounds great on my A/V system but I bought it to record my old vinyl record collection.Software is not user friendly.Cakewalk Pyro doesn't work with the laptop I intended to use. Sound card driver conflict is what the FAQ states.Audacity doesn't have all of the bells and whistle of Cakewalk but seems to be working.
I recieved my turntable yesterday and recorded two albums I haven't heard in almost 20+ years. very happy. While the instructions are about a 5, the unit itself is great. Sound quality was a great.
I have yet to use the software to convert. Work gets in the way of free time.
However, Rick at A-S immediately emailed me back twice with extremely detailed instructions. I sent emails to the online support of both Audio-Solutions and Denon and never heard from Denon. I have not tried the LP-CD, etc features yet, but I am sure if I have any problems, Rick will be just an email away. I bought this turntable to record LPs to CD and iPod, but I also wanted it to play records. I was not sure if it would connect to the Denon system I had. With his help I was able to connect my components together and play a record within minutes.
This product seems to insert a high frequency sound on top of the audio recording. While not audible to my ears, it is clearly heard by my wife and makes the recordings unlistenable.
